What if the bravest chapter of your life hasn't happened yet? On the Ideas Love Community podcast, Jacquelyn Fletcher Johnson sits down with Aransas Savas to explore why midlife can be a powerful time for reinvention, leadership, and big, brave moves. Drawing on her research and the stories of women who have transformed their lives, Aransas challenges the myth that successful founders are young and that reinvention must happen alone. In this episode, learn how women can tap into their existing resources, build a community of allies and amplifiers, communicate more courageously, and ask one life-changing question: What would be possible if you were fully supported?

Midlife Is Not the Beginning of the End
Aransas challenges the idea that women’s most ambitious years are behind them. Experience, relationships, and self-knowledge can be powerful assets for reinvention. The next chapter may not require more credentials or connections, it may require recognizing what’s already there.
Not all support looks the same.
Aransas introduces three useful categories for understanding the people around a big idea:
Allies are the people who believe in someone and offer encouragement when the path feels uncertain.
Amplifiers are the people who help someone think bigger, expand the vision, and see possibilities beyond the original plan.
Auditors are the people who question the idea or attempt to protect someone from change, sometimes projecting their own fears and limitations.
Understanding these different roles can help women become more intentional about whose advice they prioritize and whom they turn to when pursuing a meaningful goal.
